In order to study the analysis method of turbine disk burst speed and improve the accuracy of burst speed prediction,the
average stress method and local plastic strain method were used to predict the burst speed and the failure initial site of a low-pressure
turbine disk based on the results of finite element calculation. The results were compared with the results of test and failure analysis. The
results show that the burst speed predicted by the average stress method and the local plastic strain method is in good agreement with the
test results. The local plastic strain method is in good agreement with the failure analysis results in predicting the initial site of disk burst.
For the disk and its working environment,the average stress method is lower in predicting the burst speed. The local plastic strain method is
higher in predicting the burst speed,and the prediction accuracy of local plastic strain method is relatively higher. |
