Abstract:Research and verification of performance predication and flow test was developed based on the gradual reverse thrust plane cascade of centain thrust reverser. The streamline distribution and the basic structure of flow for the reverse thrust cascade are investigated by using surface oil flow measurement method combined with numerical simulation and performance test. Then, the vortex structure and flow characteristics of the reverse thrust cascade with different bending angles are revealed. Experimental and simulation results show that reverse thrust cascade endwall exhibit the three-dimensional unsteady swirling flow characteristics, and its development and evolution are similar to the flow process of turbine cascade. According to the simulation results and the characteristics of channel convergence, the basic measurement method of reverse thrust plane cascade is established and verified by the test results. It will be of great significance to the numerical simulation and experimental work of the reverse thrust cascade in the future.
