Abstract:Aiming at the trait of high technology, long cycle and large investment in aeroengine research and development projects, a method for engine work breakdown structure for product development in the whole life cycle is proposed. Based on the concept of systems engineering, this method fully considers the characteristic of the management mode of the engine research institute, and the design principle, work breakdown structure frame, work breakdown structure type and statement of element, etc was presented. The application situation of actual engine development project indicates that the methods is reasonable and efficient, which improves the integrality, rationality of the work breakdown structure, enhances the executability of plan management, and can provide corresponding information support for project management.
