Abstract:In order to study the characteristics of the non-reaction flow field of concentric staged lean direct injection combustor and the influence of dome structural parameters on the central recirculation zone, a contrastive study was carried out on the non-reaction flow field under different dome structural parameters by numerical simulation and the test verification of the baseline configuration was complet? ed. The results show that the convergent angles of the pilot module and the axial position of the nozzle have little influence on the central re? circulation zone, the swirl angles of the pilot module and the radial spacing between the main module and the pilot module have significant influence on the central recirculation zone. With the increase of swirl angles, swirl strength is enhanced and the angle of flow expands at the outlet of the pilot module, causing the size of the recirculation zone significantly increased, With the increase of radial spacing, the interac? tion between the main module and the pilot module is weakened at tangential direction and the outlet flow of the main module is fully devel? oped, causing the size of recirculation zone significantly increased.
