| Abstract:To address the challenges of the inability to measure and the difficulty in accurately calculating aeroengine main bearing
loads during maneuvering flight,as well as the difficulty in simulating bearing load under main bearing damage scenarios, bearing load
simulation analyses considering main bearing damage during maneuvering flight were conducted. A whole-engine vibration model of the
aeroengine was established, incorporating the vibrational effects of maneuvering flight on the rotor system.Complex 5-degree-of-freedom
ball bearing and roller bearing models were coupled into the whole-engine model. The fault model of the rolling bearing outer ring damage
was established and imported into the whole-engine model.Under both nominal and extreme maneuvering flight conditions, simulations
were performed to analyze the loads on the 3# support main bearing with different damage sizes of spalling fault on the outer ring. The
results show that the damage to the 3# support main bearing significantly affects its load under maneuvering flight.Under extreme condi?
tions, spalling damage exceeding 5 mm on the bearing outer ring can cause a radial load variation of approximately 54.96 kN in the vertical
direction, posing a serious threat to the operational safety of the main bearing. The quantitative analysis of the effects on radial and axial
loads under varying damage degrees is of great significance for ensuring the safety of aircraft and engine operation. |
